About Gewürztraminer

This wine was made from grapes infected with Noble Rot (Botrytis). The grapes were hand picked at the beginning of winter, well after harvest was completed.
On arrival in the winery, Eveline stomped on the bunches with her own feet, left them to soak for 24-hours and then transferred the bunches to a pneumatic press for a gentle press cycle. Fermentation took place in a mix of stainless steel tanks and small French Oak Barriques.

A: It is paying homage to the style. This wine is made from grapes infected with Noble Rot (Botrytis), so ‘Noble’ Edition.

Did you know?

It’s not so easy to make this style as you wish. You need to particular climatic conditions to take effect. We actually tried for four vintages and finally in 2015 the ‘stars were aligned’.
