On the topic of biodiversity…
One of our favourite things to do during Summer is to capture the goings-on with the local wildlife in and around the vineyard. It’s been our mission over the years to create havens for birds, bees and bugs in marginal areas of the vineyard. ‘Marginal areas’ are areas around or within the vineyard that don’t have vines on it. So where ever we can, we take to these marginal areas with native plants or wild flower seed. Exhibit A – Poppies!
